The inception of Nikhil Hospitals started way back in 1983 where it started as a small clinical facility under the name of Nikhil Nursing Home with the idea being conceptualized by Dr.S.Venkateswar Rao and Dr.S.Amita, one of Hyderabad’s eminent and notable clinicians. Our founder Dr.S.Venkateswar Rao began his medical journey by completing his M.B.B.S from the prestigious Osmania Medical College and then went on to complete his Paediatrics Specialization from the prominent Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad. Dr.S.Amita, our co-founder, pursued her M.B.B.S from the esteemed Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal andsubsequently concluded her masters in Obstretics and Gynaecology from the (Government General Hospital, Koti).
The road to serving people through health care started off by setting up professional practice in Hyderabad and as their practice flourished, they realized the lack of appropriate hospital infrastructure and thus the idea of building a multi-specialty hospital that would deliver advanced, reliable and affordable health care was conceived. Over the last 3 decades, the organization has expanded to two branches across the twin cities, catering to over thousands of patients each year.
Our very first multi-specialty hospital branch under the name “Nikhil Hospitals” was started in 1996 at Dilsukhnagar followed by our Srinagar Colony branch which commenced operations in 2003. Under astute leadership and robust management, Nikhil Hospitals has evolved as a center of health care providing highest quality standards of medical treatment to all sections of the society.
